Technology
TECAR therapy acts by stimulating the body’s own physiological repair processes. That is why it is frequently used for tissue regeneration.
TECAR is not just restricted to the physiotherapist profession but doctors are also using it as a complimentary technique to enhance surgery, for filler treatment effects or as single treatment therapy for skin tightening and body contour.
The last, but not least to benefit from the huge treatment possibilities of TECAR are the veterinaries, not just for sport horses or animals but also for pets.
But what makes TECAR especially different, is that it is non-invasive and extremely pleasant.
If you have not been treated with TECAR already, most people around you have already experienced it.
History
The TECAR acronym was born from the combination of Capacitive Resistive Electric Transfer (in Spanish Transferencia Eléctrica Capacitiva Resistiva.) This has turned into a general name to refer to a non-invasive radio frequency treatment, invented by the Catalan engineer Mr Josep Calbet. He devoted his life to the research and development of radio frequency devices that can safely introduce this energy into the human body.
Uses
Tecarherapy effects are well known by professionals who work with this type of technology. Mainly physiotherapists, rehab doctors, sport doctors, veterinaries and aesthetics doctors.
Evidence
The investigation with TECAR devices is not limited to human patients, it also extends to veterinary applications, high performance sport animals, prevention, and post competition recovery. The scientific production about the cellular mechanisms is based in the specific frequency at 448Khz from which several doctoral thesis and thesis were defended.
